c1 p15

Transcript: There's no escape from the tick of the clock. The lecture is vast and relentless. The paper crunches inside Kalo's head. He hunches over, covering his ears. "How is everything so loud?"

Another paper ball bounces off his dome.

Darren is looking at him, silently gesturing for an explanation. Kalo nervously turns away.

End page.

This was an interesting read (enjoyable enough to stick around at any rate) but I think this would work better as weekly updates after the prologue since it's not like these 20 pages tell us what the story will be about in particular. So far I expect a slice-of-life with some vague sci-fi shenanigans thrown in.

Anyway, keep up the good work, looking forward for more!

So, this guy's gonna end up a super or something, going from the summary. And I'm reading this page with the disruptively loud noises going, "Gasp! I'm starting to show superpowers!"

Because a little over two years ago I started getting horrid migraines that seemed focused on sound. Everything was louder, and my thoughts jumbled into like TV static in the back of my head...it was ridiculous. I couldn't function in loud places or busy places.

I take Topomax and a bunch of vitamins that help now, much better. Still have moments though.

I just thought I'd share how relatable I found this page, sorry if I rambled. <3

@SoulRaider116: Oof, migraines ain't fun, I'm glad you found a way to reduce them! I myself get sensory overloads a lot, which is what I drew from for this page.
